MAKTUB - IT IS WRITTEN
If you have read The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho, you might be familiar with the word "MAKTUB". The Arabic word which means it is written or what we call it - Destiny.
MAKTUB - IT IS WRITTEN
A whisper from the universe that every twist, every silence, every missed chance!, was never really a mistake.
There are days when the heart feels heavy without reason, and moments when the universe answers questions we never dared to ask. Sometimes, when life doesn't go our way, we quietly assume — maybe this is how it was meant to be. We stop praying. We stop believing that anything can change. We accept the hurt as final, the moment as irreversible. We bury our hopes beneath the weight of "what’s done is done." We silence the part of us that still wants to believe, just to protect ourselves from more disappointment. But deep down, a small voice still whispers — what if it’s not over yet?
But Maktub doesn't mean “nothing can shift.” It means “trust the bigger story.” It means the page may already hold a miracle — if only we choose to stay with it a little longer. Destiny listens when your heart speaks with surrender. Not every ending is the end.
Sometimes, even what is written can bend/shift not by force but through faith, with grace through surrender. When you pray with a heart stripped of ego, when you surrender to the supreme soul, it has the power to change anything - across the seven seas, across the heavens, across all the worlds- THE FORMLESS, THE ONE, THE SUPREME, NIRANKAR. The kind of shift only love and trust in the universe/supreme can bring. Your part is to surrender, the rest belongs to the energy.
And in surrender, something awakens.
Not control - but courage,
Not certainty - but trust,
Not answers - but peace in not needing them all.
Maybe we are not lost, maybe we are just on a page we don't understand yet.
Those delays are protection.
Trust the timing
Trust the turning
Trust the one who created you.
Because somehow, in some way, It was always written to bring you home.
Teri qismat da likhya tere to koi kho ni skda,
